Rigger boots

Not banned on all sites yet woodsie, but I would say it is going that way, am sure the railways started the war against the good old rigger boot & (recreational drug users), I can only assume that as a result of numerous accident investigation findings regarding sprains to the ankles etc, that the good old rigger was found part guilty on the charge of contributory negligence..... probably 60/40....Drink, Drugs & total incompetence played a 40% contributory factor for the user.......... what size are there????.. 9??.. how much for cash??????LOL

I have the same problem, riggers are just about banned within the construction industry, I'm surprised they gave you the option of wellies, as we have to have a permit to wear them & that's only after a risk assessment has been done, don't ask&#; We moved on to lace up safety boots, but "they" are also on the way out as we now have to have metatarsal protection, look at Goliath D30 boots. I'll be glad when I get out of it!! I'm off to a job in London tomorrow, 2 day induction, drug & alcohol testing, full railway spec HiViz , all on a sh1t works!!!!
