This lath incorporates longitudinal ribs, minor inverted ribs, and herringbone meshes. The Hy Rib's open mesh, combined with its ribs, ensures the sheet maintains intrinsic stiffness along its length.

Hi rib lath is typically secured between the outer layers of reinforcement. The fixing methods include staples, nails, or screws attached to the steel reinforcing substrate. This formwork allows concrete slurry to percolate through the key joint, making it ideal for construction joints, walls, beams, columns, and soffit slabs.
