The OV13B10 image sensor supports phase detection autofocus(PDAF), while providing multiple resolution options to meet the needs of end users, including full resolution 13 MP image output at 30 frames per second, 4K2K video at 30fps, p full high definition( HD) at 60 fps, or 720p HD at 120fps.
In comparision with its predecessors, the OV13B has significantly lower power consumption for extended battery life. It also has a smaller chip size, enabling an 8.5mm*8.5mm autofocus module for main cameras, or a 6.4mm*7.2mm fixed focus module for front-facing camers with a Z height below 4mm.

OmniVision has released two new image sensors, the OV13B and OV16A. The OV13B is a 13 MPixel sensor in a 1/3" optical format with 1.12 µm pixel size. The small size of the chip enables 8.5 x 8.5 mm autofocus modules for main smartphone cameras and 6.4 x 7.2 mm fixed-focus modules for front-facing cameras. The OV13B is capable of 13 MPixel and 4K2K video at 30 fps, p at 60 fps, and 720p at 120 fps.
The OV16A is a 16 MPixel sensor in a 1/3.06" optical format with 1 µm pixel size designed for front-facing cameras on thin bezel phones, enabling 6.5 x 6 mm fixed-focus camera modules, with 2x1 microlens phase detection focus that boosts autofocus accuracy in low light conditions.
